"I would recommend The Mold Hunter, Inc. to anyone who needs this type of service.  We recently worked with Mike and his staff and were very pleased with them.  They were honest, trustworthy, and reliable.  They were a joy to work with and we hope their company continues to grow.  We need more reliable businesses like them."
Donald Foreman, Pinehill Baptist Retreat Director.

"Thank you so much for your recent work in our upstairs bathroom.  It was, to say the least, an unexpected setback to our remodeling project.  Thankfully, you were able to come out right away, assess the damage, and give us helpful suggestions as how to remedy the situation.  You and your staff were very unobtrusive and very professional in getting our bathroom ready for the other projects that were pending.  Thank you for providing us with the piece of mind knowing that the air quality in our home is much better, and also in knowing that the further spread of mold had been eradicated."
The Haywood Family

"I want to thank you for the wonderful customer service that you provide. You were extremely thorough in your inspection, knowledge, and follow up. The remediation went smoothly and was very quick. In a dire time of need, you were able to meet our demands with ease. Thanks so much for the effort you put into our home."
Sincerely, Jason Throckmorton

"Prompt, professional service is what I encountered with Mike Smith at The Mold Hunter.  Mike was able to identify a mold problem and solve it so our closing could go as planned.  There were no delays and Mike is to be commended for his assistance and attention to delay to make this one happen."

The Mold Hunter, Inc is certified by the IICRC, ESO, MICRO, and IOT to perform both mold inspections and mold remediation.  We are fully insured with workers comp, general liability, and errors and omissions insurances for mold inspections and remediation.  The Mold Hunter, Inc performs both mold inspections and remediation.  We are locally owned, not a franchised operation.  We are not a home inspection company trying to squeeze a little more money out of a home inspection, or a restoration company that is trying to scare their clients into remediation.

We use solid techniques to collect data that we submit to an independent lab that is accredited in mold mycology to determine the specific mold types in your home and provide you with enough information to help you make an informed decision.  We provide mold inspections every day, and almost 100% of the crawlspaces we inspect have some degree of microbial growth in them.  We The Mold Huntertake a surface sample of likely infected areas and use lab analysis to determine exactly what it is we are seeing.  We also take indoor air samples to determine if what is in the crawlspace is aerosolized in the living environment.  Our basic inspection fee includes a visual inspection of all accessible areas of the house and includes 2 air samples, one indoor and one outdoor reference sample, as required by industry standard protocol.  This includes overnight charges to the lab.  After the lab receives the samples we can generally get the results in 24 hours provided a weekend or holiday is not involved.  We typically email these results to you.  We will not disclose any of the results to anyone else unless you provide us with written authorization to do so.

How many samples do you need?  A good rule of thumb is one indoor air sample for every 1000 sq ft of living area.  Anytime we do an inspection, during this if we see any visible mold we will recommend that you take a surface sample of the visible area.  You really determine how many samples we take, by the size of your home and the level of thoroughness that you would like for us to provide.  Thanks in advance for your interests.
